CCR OBJECTIVES
1. Serve the community as a clearinghouse for organized recreation information by:
• maintaining a staffed office and community recreation information ctr.
• soliciting information from existing recreation organizations and groups--
regarding fees, contact person, age groups, season of play, etc.
• providing the community with on-going recreation information via Chadron’s
TV Information Channel 6, monthly radio spots on KCSR Radio, and print news
releases.
2. Work with Chadron City Schools in providing organized
recreational activities for school-aged children grades K-8.
3. Provide support and assistance to existing recreation organizations and programs
within the Chadron community, as requested.
4. Provide athletic training camps, clinics or workshops for Chadron residents, upon
request and as needed.
